4. Description Abstract Our global objective is to propose, for ODL, models and functional architectures elaborated from the practices observed within a society that markets some solutions around a platform. It is therefore about a process of re-engineering a strong characteristic of which is to cover the overall distance learning life cycle. In this context, this contribution is dedicated to the concept of activity. A lot of propositions are centered on the learner's activity, we describe how the concept of activity is used in some representative models of the existing literature, then we propose a model of activity that covers the activity of all actors of the open distance learning production process more extensively. We show the use of this model in several situations.
